Southwest Housing Corporation, Detroit, MI The firm has been involved with Southwest Housing Corporation and its parent corporation, Southwest Detroit Counseling and Development Services, for over 27 years. We have completed or currently working on ten historic building rehabilitation projects representing 125 apartment units and commercial space along the West Vernor Highway corridor. These include the Harrington, Harwill Manor and Cole Apartments, Martin Gardens and Martin Body Works near West Grand Boulevard, and Lawndale Station, a four building historic rehabilitation project near Lawndale Avenue. These projects represent approximately $15 million of construction activity.
