Oregon Convention Center Headquarters Hotel and Casino - Portland, Oregon Concept design for an 800 room 750,000 sf Headquarters Hotel and Casino adjacent to the Portland Convention Center. Concept prepared for Sustainable Equities, LLC of Portland, Oregon and incorporates ecological 'green' design technologies, including 'green roof' gardens, roof top wind turbines and a separate 'bioshelter' and hydrokinetic turbines at the Willamette River for producing food and energy. Project cost is $750,000,000. KA will serve as Coordinating architect in association with Arquitectonica International, Miami, FL.
